London Gospel Partnership Day Conference

I was at the London Gospel Partnership Day Conference today at St. Helen’s. It was good to bump into old friends and catch up and have lunch with leaders and members in our partnership churches. But most of all, it was good to gather with church leaders across our city for the day to hear from God’s Word and learn how we can be working together to reach our city for Christ.

At the start, I was able to share our plans for our new church plant, the challenges ahead in cross-cultural church planting and how people could pray for us. A highlight was hearing interviews of how we can share best practices from experienced practitioners who are reaching and discipling people from from settled and transient communities.

Nigel Styles talk from Acts 1v1-11 was encouraging as he expounded how the reigning Lord Jesus claims the whole world as his and directs his people from Heaven. Neil Powell spoke from Romans 15v14-33, showing how gospel ambition leaders to global ambition, fulfilled through gospel partnership so let’s reach London that we may reach the world and let’s do it together. Above all, a spiritually refreshing day!
